They are seeking an Executive Director for AMS Technical Sales who will lead and mentor a global team, develop strategies for product adoption, and engage with customers to ensure successful deployments of AMS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a global team of AMS applications engineers and sales specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
- Developing and executing strategies to drive adoption of Synopsys’ Analog Mixed Signal product lines across key markets and customer segments worldwide
- Partnering with R&D, and Marketing to define and deliver compelling AMS solutions that address evolving customer needs
- Engaging directly with strategic customers to understand their challenges, present technical solutions, and ensure successful deployments
- Driving global AMS technical programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Synopsys’ business objectives and technical roadmap
- Representing Synopsys at industry events, customer meetings, and technical forums as an executive spokesperson and thought leader
- Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to influence product development and competitive positioning
- Accelerate the global adoption of Synopsys AMS products, expanding market share and revenue growth
- Elevate the technical capabilities and performance of the AMS applications engineering team
- Strengthen customer partnerships by delivering exceptional technical support and innovative solutions
- Shape the future of AMS technology by providing critical feedback to R&D and guiding product direction
- Enhance Synopsys’ reputation as the industry leader in analog mixed signal solutions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless execution of global technical sales programs
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the organization
Skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) in analog mixed signal design, applications engineering, or technical sales roles, with a significant leadership component
- Deep technical expertise in AMS EDA tools, flows, methodologies, and semiconductor process technologies
- Strong program management skills, with experience driving global initiatives from concept through execution
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, with the ability to build trust and deliver results for top-tier semiconductor clients
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at both technical and executive levels
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
