As a Financial Analyst, you will apply your financial expertise to support strategic goals and ensure optimal fiscal health, analyzing critical financial data and contributing to revenue optimization and expenditure management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary financial contact for vendors, streamlining processes, resolving invoicing issues, and building strong relationships
- Validate vendor invoices against contracts using SQL queries, ensuring compliance with rates and contractual obligations
- Identify and resolve invoicing discrepancies (e.g., overbilling, duplicates) in a timely manner, documenting issues for improvement
- Develop and utilize SQL queries and advanced Excel skills for financial data analysis, validation, process automation, and problem-solving
- Contribute to month-end close by reconciling vendor accounts, preparing reports, and delivering ad-hoc financial insights
- Effectively communicate complex information, leverage Google Suite, and collaborate with teams for smooth vendor operations and stakeholder management
Skills
- Bachelors Other in business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in a financial, analytical, operations role, or vendor management
- Prior experience in healthcare or a related industry is a plus
