Remote HR Generalist

About the Opportunity A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a fully remote role supporting a small, collaborative workforce. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to improve HR processes while managing day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, addressing questions and resolving workplace issues • Support performance management, including reviews, feedback, and development planning • Partner with hiring managers on full-cycle recruiting and onboarding • Evaluate and improve HR processes, policies, and procedures • Review and update job descriptions to align with organizational needs • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration (ADP preferred) • Manage HR operations, including employee records, compliance, and reporting • Provide administrative HR support as needed • Build and maintain HR tracking systems and databases Qualifications • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience • Strong foundation across employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and payroll • Experience improving or building HR processes and systems • ADP experience highly preferred • Ability to operate as a strategic thought partner while remaining hands-on • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Comfortable in a remote, fast-paced environment Why This is a Great Opportunity This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven organization, make an immediate impact by improving HR processes, and transition into a long-term role within a collaborative and fully remote team. #RJADM45 Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour Application Question(s): • How many years of ADP software experience do you have?
