Library is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote HR Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote position, offering the opportunity to shape our human resources department from the ground up. Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, addressing any demands, grievances, or other issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Nurture a positive, engaging, and inclusive working environment across our distributed team.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee development.
• Maintain and enhance our compensation and benefits programmes to ensure they are competitive and equitable.
• Identify training needs and create or procure professional development programmes.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and best practices, updating policies and procedures as required.
• Maintain employee records and reports with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or in a similar senior HR role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Demonstrable experience with the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a remote or technology-focused company would be a significant advantage.
