Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Service Specialists Ltd is a successful, multi-location medical organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. This role involves balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations, focusing on talent acquisition, payroll administration, employee relations, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through onboarding for positions across multiple clinic locations
- Partner with leaders to identify hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding while ensuring a positive employee experience
- Process payroll-related changes, including PTO, reimbursements, employee updates, and deductions
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, COBRA, and annual open enrollment
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, HR policies, and workplace guidance
- Maintain HRIS records and support ongoing system optimization
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and healthcare regulations
- Support performance management initiatives and assist leaders with employee documentation
- Maintain employee records, training documentation, certifications, and HR reporting
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and the overall employee experience
Skills
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience in recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Healthcare or multi-location experience is preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
