The Key Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, drive sales growth, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to maximize sales opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to develop strategic sales plans
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to stakeholders and senior management
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market presence
- Stay informed about industry trends, product advancements, and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Proven ability to manage and grow key customer relationships
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
