[Remote] Principal Analyst, Business

They are seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to support product management for their Accounting, Treasury, and Social Impact teams, acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering with business partners and translate needs into technical specs for implementation
• Manage vendor relationships across the project lifecycle: evaluating solutions, navigating architecture and governance reviews, testing functionality, and tracking results after go-live
• Own application backlogs: documenting requests, prioritizing with business partners, and writing test cases
• Write SQL and analyze datasets to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Build and execute test plans for system changes, validating against requirements and tracking results
• Partner with Tech Support to troubleshoot reported issues, reconciling data discrepancies and fixing root causes
• Evaluate new technology and upgrades, present new features to business partners, and build training and support documentation

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
• 7 to 10 years of relevant Accounting, Finance, Treasury, business analysis, or consulting experience
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, data analysis, conceptual thinking, problem solving, customer focus, work management, relationship building, and written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks at once, start to finish
• Required experience with Yardi and real estate technology
• Business analysis or project management experience preferred
• Experience with treasury management software, Workiva, Power BI, Claude, and Copilot is a nice to have
