Scientific Search is seeking a Process Engineer to join their Innovation team and help bring sustainable consumer products from concept to commercial production. This role involves connecting formulation and manufacturing to ensure innovative products are successfully scaled while maintaining quality and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Partner with formulators throughout product development
- Optimize formulas for scalable manufacturing
- Evaluate equipment capabilities across contract manufacturers
- Troubleshoot scale-up and commercial production challenges
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience with powder and liquid formulations
- Background in household cleaning, personal care, or similar consumer products
- Strong knowledge of formulation, scale-up, and manufacturing processes
- Expertise with excipients, processing aids, and production troubleshooting
