As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team delivering impactful water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management
- Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with precision and creativity
- Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use
- Take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams
- Lead portions of design work and help ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables that meet regulatory and industry standards
- Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines to keep projects on track and aligned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
- Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
