The Regional Sales Engineer role focuses on managing an existing customer base and developing new sales opportunities in the electronics manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support regional sales strategies aligned with annual revenue goals
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within electronics manufacturing (e.g., EMS, PCB assembly)
- Support, coordinate, and develop relationships with independent sales representatives across North America (U.S. & Canada)
- Joint customer visits, product presentations, and technical sales discussions
- Provide regular updates, forecasts, and market feedback to U.S. leadership and headquarters in Germany
- Collaborate closely with engineering and technical support teams to ensure strong customer solutions
- Represent the company at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows
Skills
- Self-motivated and independent within a small, team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present technical products and solutions effectively
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or a customer-facing role within electronics manufacturing or industrial equipment
- Bachelor's degree; Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar technical field
- Willingness to travel ~50% across North America
