Responsibilities
- Build backend services from scratch — from architecture to deployment
- Design RESTful APIs and highly concurrent systems that handle real‑world scale
- Solve complex engineering problems and make sound decisions about priorities
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to deliver fast, maintainable code
- Contribute to a culture of ownership: review code, share knowledge, and mentor where you can
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proven track record of building greenfield systems (not just maintaining legacy code)
- Proficiency in Golang or Python (both are great)
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong grasp of REST API design, distributed systems, and concurrency
