They are seeking a Requirements Management Engineer to ensure that safety, regulatory, and design requirements are clearly defined and traceable throughout the reactor project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage requirements for reactor systems, plant infrastructure, and supporting components
- Translate regulatory, safety, and licensing inputs into clear, structured requirements
- Partner with engineering teams to define, maintain, and refine requirements across the design lifecycle
- Ensure full traceability from high-level requirements to design and verification outputs
- Support verification and validation planning to ensure requirements are testable and complete
- Identify and resolve gaps, conflicts, and inconsistencies in requirements
- Contribute to systems engineering documentation, safety analysis, and licensing efforts
- Drive consistency, quality, and rigor across internal teams and external partners
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in systems or requirements engineering within nuclear, aerospace, defense, or other regulated environments
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and complex system design
- Experience with requirements management and traceability tools and processes
- Familiarity with quality and configuration management standards (e.g., ASME NQA-1 or similar)
- Ability to interpret regulatory and safety requirements and apply them to engineering design
- Strong technical judgment and clear communication skills
