They are seeking a motivated Account Manager who will manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, identify opportunities for expansion, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Grow revenue within an assigned portfolio of customer accounts
- Develop strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and customers
- Identify opportunities to expand product usage and increase account value
- Onboard new customers generated through business development, marketing, vendor referrals, and website inquiries
- Convert qualified leads into long-term customers
- Re-engage inactive accounts with growth potential
- Manage sales opportunities from initial quote through close using CRM
- Follow up on customer quotes and sales opportunities in a timely manner
- Partner with Customer Service and internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Communicate customer needs, opportunities, and potential risks to internal stakeholders
- Help customers find solutions that contribute to their long-term success
Skills
- Experience in Account Management, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, or Relationship Management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for building trust
- Ability to identify growth opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Self-motivation and a desire to continuously improve
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or B2B sales
