Coface is a globally recognized leader in trade credit insurance and risk management, seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to join their Commercial Sales team. The role focuses on driving new business growth and building long-term relationships with middle-market companies through specialized financial risk solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by prospecting, developing, and closing middle‑market accounts through consultative, value‑based selling
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue goals through a combination of new client acquisition and renewal of existing policies
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals from banks and insurance brokers, and strategic networking
- Develop a portfolio of clients aligned with Coface’s long‑term growth and retention objectives
- Sell complex financial solutions focused on credit risk mitigation, cash‑flow protection, and trade security
- Partner closely with internal teams (underwriting, risk, client services) to deliver best‑in‑class solutions and service
- Service and grow existing client relationships by monitoring programs, identifying coverage needs, and uncovering expansion opportunities
- Stay ahead of the market by tracking industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving client risks
- Continuously sharpen your skills through formal training, workshops, and on‑the‑job development
Skills
- A proven B2B sales professional with at least 3+ years of success selling trade credit solutions, financial, banking, insurance, or complex B2B solutions
- A confident hunter with strong cold‑calling, prospecting, and business‑development instincts
- Experienced selling to CFOs, Controllers, business owners, or senior decision‑makers
- Demonstrated ability to win new logos, grow accounts, and retain long‑term clients
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑activity environment with clear goals and accountability
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear business value
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Trade Credit Insurance experience is a plus, but not required
- Active P&C license preferred, or willingness to obtain licensing within 60 days of hire
