Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – 1099 Contractor Company: Guided Health Therapy Location: 100% Remote — Must be licensed in Arizona and/or Texas Position Type: Independent Contractor 1099 | Part-Time | Flexible Caseload Compensation: $65+/hour for therapy sessions | $150+/hour for evaluations Expected Hours: 1–20 hours per week, depending on referrals and provider availability About Guided Health Therapy Guided Health Therapy is a fully virtual pediatric therapy practice serving families across Texas and Arizona. We provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language services directly to children where they learn best — at home. We are a therapist-founded, clinician-led company built around a simple idea: great pediatric therapy does not require a commute. Our contractors set their own availability, build their own caseloads, and focus on what they do best — helping children make meaningful progress. The Role We are looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy sessions and evaluations to pediatric clients in Texas and/or Arizona. This role is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working with school-age children, supporting families, and providing therapy in a flexible teletherapy model. Experience with AAC and pediatric feeding is highly preferred. You will work directly with motivated families in homeschool, microschool, and independent-learning environments, with parents and caregivers who are engaged in their child’s progress. What You’ll Do • Provide 1:1 virtual speech-language therapy sessions through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform • Conduct comprehensive virtual speech-language evaluations and complete evaluation reports • Develop and update individualized treatment plans and therapy goals • Support areas such as articulation, phonology, receptive language, expressive language, social communication, fluency, AAC, and functional communication • Provide pediatric feeding support, when clinically appropriate and within your scope of practice • Provide parent coaching, home practice activities, and carryover strategies • Complete documentation, treatment notes, evaluations, and required forms using our company’s EMR system • Communicate with parents and caregivers about progress and recommendations • Maintain licensure, insurance, and clearance requirements in your state of practice Compensation & Perks • Therapy sessions: $65+ per hour • Evaluations: $150+ per hour • Flexible schedule • Choose your caseload size and grow at your own pace • 100% remote — no commute, no site travel, no on-call • Prompt, reliable pay on a predictable schedule • No-show reimbursement policy — your time is protected • Company EMR system provided for scheduling, documentation, and client records • Supportive clinical leadership team • Streamlined onboarding and documentation systems Requirements • Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in Arizona and/or Texas required • CCC-SLP preferred • Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience preferred • School-based, homeschool, or teletherapy experience is a plus • AAC experience preferred • Pediatric feeding experience preferred • For Texas providers only: Ability to pass state-required background/fingerprint clearance • Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain before starting • Reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and private workspace • Comfort providing engaging therapy through telehealth • Strong documentation habits and independent time management About the 1099 Relationship This is an independent contractor position. Contractors control their own schedule, methods, and availability. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, licensure, and insurance. A signed Independent Contractor Agreement is required before beginning services.
