Skills
- Strong skills in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply GAAP principles to property management operations
- Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting for multiple properties or business units
- Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger maintenance, including reconciliations and variance analysis
- Advanced knowledge of property management or real estate accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment
- Prior experience in property management, real estate, or affordable housing (LIHTC, HUD, USDA-RD, Bond financing) is preferred
