They are seeking a Site Acquisitions Analyst to source, evaluate, and secure land and power opportunities across the US, requiring a proactive approach and strong relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source land and power opportunities within your assigned regional territory through direct outreach, broker relationships, public filings, utility data, and creative off-market prospecting
- Build and maintain a pipeline of active opportunities including sites with pending or approved interconnection applications, land options at risk, and landowners seeking a development partner or exit
- Conduct initial site screening against Colovore's development criteria including power availability, substation proximity, transmission access, zoning, and site constraints
- Develop relationships with landowners, developers, real estate brokers, utility representatives, local economic development agencies, and municipal planning offices
- Maintain accurate and current deal tracking across your territory, reporting pipeline status, deal terms, and site assessment findings on a regular cadence
- Represent Colovore at regional industry events, broker meetings, and community engagements to build brand presence and deal flow in your territory
- Collaborate with Colovore's senior acquisition personnel to move qualified opportunities through the acquisition process efficiently
Skills
- 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate, land brokerage, site selection, economic development, energy development, or a closely related field. Recent graduates with strong internship experience and the right instincts are encouraged to apply
- A deal-making mindset. You are energetic, persistent, and creative. You find angles others miss and you do not wait for opportunities to come to you
- Strong prospecting skills. You are comfortable picking up the phone, knocking on doors, and building relationships from scratch in a new territory
- Ability to read and interpret basic real estate documents, utility interconnection applications, zoning maps, and site plans
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. You can represent Colovore credibly with landowners, brokers, utility officials, and local government
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment. Colovore is growing rapidly and this role will evolve as the team scales
- Proficiency in CRM tools, mapping platforms, and standard business software
- Willingness to travel within your regional territory regularly
- Experience in data center, telecom, energy, or industrial real estate development
- Existing relationships with utility interconnection teams or regional transmission organizations
- Familiarity with FERC interconnection processes, utility queue systems, or power purchase agreements
- Background in economic development, municipal planning, or entitlement processes
