They are seeking an R&D Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of AI-driven robotic systems for construction.
Responsibilities
- Build custom tools and integrations that accelerate development and experimentation
- Improve and extend our AI coding assistant to boost team productivity
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows across engineering and operations
- Contribute to health dashboards, testing infrastructure, and data pipelines
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve open-ended problems with code
Skills
- Strong programming fundamentals and a track record of building something impressive
- Ability to get things done independently, without extensive guidance
- Comfortable working across unfamiliar domains and technology stacks
- Writes simple, readable, and maintainable code
- Excited about using AI tools to move faster and smarter
- Experience with LLMs, developer tooling, or automation frameworks
- Exposure to robotics, distributed systems, or sensor data
- Background in software engineering, but with a flexible, cross-functional mindset
- Interest in sustainability, construction, or experimental R&D environments
