Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Senior Recruiting Partner specializing in Emergency Veterinarian recruitment. This role involves driving full-cycle recruitment for high-priority clinical positions and building strong relationships with Operations and Medical leadership to attract exceptional veterinary talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Emergency Veterinarian and Travel ER positions, partnering closely with Operations and Medical leadership teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for veterinary recruiting, sharing best practices and supporting the development of recruiting strategies across the team
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary professionals to develop proactive talent pipelines
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define selection criteria, and develop effective interview strategies
- Maintain a strong understanding of the hospitals you support to ensure quality hiring decisions and successful long-term placements
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, personalized engagement, and thoughtful follow-up
- Utilize recruiting metrics, market intelligence, and industry trends to influence hiring strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Effectively manage multiple requisitions through the full recruitment lifecycle, including opening requisitions, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
- Leverage ATS and CRM systems to maintain accurate candidate pipelines and maximize recruiting efficiency
- Meet or exceed established hiring goals while maintaining high standards for candidate quality and stakeholder satisfaction
- Develop referral networks with internal team members, recent hires, and industry contacts
- Represent Thrive Pet Healthcare at veterinary conferences, career fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives
- Serve as a Thrive ambassador by promoting our culture, values, and career opportunities
- Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives that support organizational goals
- Provide recruiting coverage and support for teammates during planned PTO
Skills
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within healthcare, veterinary medicine, or another clinical recruiting environment
- Demonstrated success recruiting veterinarians, physicians, advanced practice providers, or other difficult-to-fill clinical positions
- Experience partnering with senior Operations and Medical leadership
- Strong sourcing expertise with proven success engaging passive candidates
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to conduct effective intake meetings, manage multiple concurrent searches, and adapt quickly to changing business priorities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
- Ability to support hiring managers and candidates across multiple time zones
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for hospital visits, recruiting events, leadership meetings, and team collaboration
