We're hiring a full-time remote technical support specialist based in Honduras to support customers of Tan-Link, a software platform used by tanning salons across the United States.
About the role
You'll be the helpful voice salon owners and front-desk staff hear when they need a hand — walking them through features, troubleshooting logins, scheduling, POS integrations, hardware connectivity, and reports. Most customers aren't technical, so patience and clear communication matter more than deep IT skills.
Schedule: Main support hours are Monday–Friday during US Central daytime. Occasional weekend support may be required in certain situations (e.g., outages, urgent customer issues, or coverage gaps) — not every weekend, but you should be willing and reasonably available when needed.
Hiring structure: We start with a paid trial period to make sure it's a great fit on both sides. Strong performers move into the permanent full-time role with the full benefits package below.
What you'll do
Respond to customer questions via chat, email, and occasional phone calls
Troubleshoot issues and guide users through fixes
Document recurring problems for our knowledge base
Escalate complex bugs to engineering with clear notes
Help onboard new salons
Who we're looking for
Fluent English, spoken and written — you'll be talking with US salon owners daily
1+ year of tech support, customer service, or BPO experience
Solid, reliable internet connection
A private, quiet workspace at home for every shift
Fast learner — we'll train you on Tan-Link, but you should pick things up quickly
Calm, patient, and professional with non-technical users
Available weekdays during US Central daytime, with flexibility for occasional weekend coverage
Experience with salon, POS, or scheduling software is a plus, not required.
Compensation & benefits
Total package: 40,000 HNL/month, broken down as:
Base salary: 33,500 HNL/month
