Sales Development Representative (Part-Time Remote)

SquarePeg is looking for a remote part-time sales rep (SDR) to help our growing tech startup land new accounts, expand into new markets, and develop a sales team. This is an opportunity to join a startup from the ground up, and be an integral part of our small (but passionate) team. Responsibilities As our first sales hire, you’ll be: • Prospecting target accounts usinging LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Seamless.AI • Writing copy for large scale email campaigns • Helping to automate email campaigns in Apollo and taking a data-driven approach to running tests on different buyer personas • Crafting personalized emails to target buyers • Participating in product demos with our CEO • Running automated and personal LinkedIn InMail campaigns • Helping to create sales materials (1 pagers, demo videos, brochures, etc) • Calling on potential clients throughout the buying process • Working in Hubspot to build a pipeline • Proactively searching for new, innovative ways to build and grow the business Requirements We are very open-minded when it comes to hiring, and value the ability to learn on-the-job. If you don’t have experience in any of the preferred areas but are disciplined enough to teach yourself, please apply! • Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub & CRM is preferred • Experience running successful cold email campaigns • Experience with Apollo, Seamless.AI, Outreach.IO or any email automation service • Experience prospecting using SalesNav • Experience running cold outreach tests and building buyer personas • Experience selling B2B SaaS for a tech startup is highly preferred • Experience with marketing attribution and reporting a plus • Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus • Familiarity with hiring, recruiting, and HR Tech a plus • Highly results-oriented; you want your work to make a direct impact on the business • Unafraid of rejection; you need to brush it off when people tell you "no thanks" • Energetic; an upbeat attitude goes a long way • Empathetic; you connect well with other people and understand the customer’s pain points • Entrepreneurial; you’re willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done • Extremely organized and methodical, with a high attention to detail • Capable of working independently without a ton of oversight; able to provide regular progress updates • Able to learn new tools and technology easily with self-guided learning • Great interpersonal, written and verbal communications; Able to communicate effectively with clients via email and phone • Able to interpret data in a meaningful way and produce thoughtful analysis • High sense of urgency to get things done • Proactive, able to take initiative and propose/implement new initiatives About Us: SquarePeg is a tech startup in the “Future of Work” space, with a mission of connecting job seekers and companies based on fit — not just resumes.
