Sales Manager/Business Development Associate

This is a remote position. Job Description: Sales Executive  Department: Sales & Business Development  Location: Remote (UK-based clients)  Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Development Associate   About SEHYOG  SEHYOG is a UK-based EdTech platform delivering personalized online tutoring to students across the UK. Our mission is to make quality education accessible, personalized, and result-driven.    Role Overview  The Sales Manager / Business Development Associate will be responsible for lead generation, client engagement, and sales conversion for SEHYOG’s tutoring services. The role involves interacting with parents and students, understanding academic needs, presenting suitable solutions, and converting prospects into enrolled customers. This is a target-driven role requiring strong communication, persuasion, and follow-up skills.    Key Responsibilities  Lead Generation & Prospecting  Identify and qualify prospective parents and students through inbound and outbound channels  Handle leads generated via marketing campaigns, referrals, webinars, and direct outreach  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and sales stages in the CRM.  Client Engagement & Sales Conversion  Conduct outbound calls, follow-ups, and consultations with prospective clients  Understand academic requirements and recommend appropriate tutoring solutions  Clearly explain SEHYOG’s offerings, pricing plans, and value proposition  Effectively address objections and convince parents to proceed with admissions  Schedule demos, trial sessions, and webinars in coordination with academic teams  Sales Closure & Performance Management  Convert qualified leads into paying customers using consultative selling techniques  Achieve or exceed assigned monthly sales targets and KPIs  Ensure timely follow-ups to maximize lead conversion rates.  Webinar, Demo & Campaign Support  Assist in webinar planning, execution, and post-webinar lead follow-ups  Support marketing campaigns by engaging and nurturing campaign-generated leads  Track conversion performance from webinars and campaigns  Coordination & Reporting  Coordinate with Academic and Operations teams for smooth onboarding of new students  Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports  Share market feedback and client insights with management    Skills & Competencies Required  Sales & Communication  Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills  Proven ability to convert leads into enrolled students  Experience in counselling and convincing parents regarding student admissions  Excellent verbal and written communication skills (UK English preferred)  CRM & Sales Tools  Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred)  Ability to manage sales pipelines, follow-ups, and reporting  Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace  Lead Generation & Marketing Awareness  Strong understanding of lead generation strategies and sales funnels  Familiarity with marketing campaigns and customer acquisition techniques  Ability to work with inbound and outbound lead sources  Webinar & Demo Management  Experience in coordinating demos, trial classes, and webinars  Strong follow-up discipline to convert attendees into customers
