Diné Development Corporation (DDC) – Source is seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Apps DBA to support a mission-critical U.S. Air Force program modernizing enterprise maintenance and logistics systems. This role supports the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Initiative (MROi) and focuses on managing large-scale Oracle EBS R12.2 environments across on-premise infrastructure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata Cloud Services, and Cloud One. The Senior Apps DBA will work closely with government stakeholders, system integrators, and engineering teams to ensure secure, high-performance Oracle ERP systems supporting Air Force operations worldwide. This position is ideal for cleared professionals who want to work on high-impact national defense systems while leveraging modern Oracle cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, clone, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments
Manage ADOP patching cycles, upgrades, and system maintenance
Perform environment provisioning and cloning across development, test, training, and production
Administer user provisioning, roles, and responsibilities
Support application monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization
Manage Oracle Database 12c / 19c environments
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Support Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard architectures
Monitor database performance and perform tuning as needed
Support Oracle ERP deployments across OCI, Cloud One, Exadata Cloud Services, and DISA environments
Assist with cloud migration, hybrid architecture integration, and infrastructure automation
Ensure systems meet DoD security requirements and STIG compliance
Analyze query execution plans and optimize database performance
Identify application performance bottlenecks
Conduct performance testing and system benchmarking
Support capacity planning and load balancing
Work closely with the MROi Integrated Program Office (IPO) and system implementers
Provide technical expertise on architecture and scalability decisions
Interface with Oracle Support and other stakeholders to resolve issues
Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to operational best practices
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required
IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5–7+ years supporting Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.2
Experience with large enterprise Oracle environments
Oracle EBS installation, cloning, patching, and upgrades
ADOP online patching cycles
Oracle Database 12c / 19c administration
Oracle RAC, RMAN, ASM
Linux or Solaris system administration
Oracle WebLogic Server administration
Monitoring with Oracle Enterprise Manager
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD programs
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification
Oracle E‑Business Suite certification
Experience with Oracle Exadata infrastructure
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies (SOA, IAM, APEX, OEM)
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Experience working with distributed or government contractor teams
