Social Worker, LCSW, Psychiatry/Behavioral Science (Partial Remote)

Minimum Qualification • Master’s degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) • At least two (2) years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting Preferred Qualifications • Experience providing services to patients involved in substance recovery treatment. • Experience with group therapy. Job Description: Social Work Clinician - Practice is characterized by independent decision-making and a consistent approach to holistic patient care. The LCSW functions within the interdisciplinary team and initiates action to address patient care concerns. Serves as a clinical leader and has broad experience and advanced knowledge and skills. To provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to patients in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in an outpatient setting. Job Duties: • Provide psychotherapy services to child, adolescent and adult patients in the Department’s outpatient clinics. • Demonstrate knowledge and use of evidence-based treatment techniques in professional practice to address therapeutic issues. • Document assessments and progress notes in the patient’s electronic medical record in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. • Analyze therapeutic techniques and implement changes to improve quality of service. • Adhere to internal controls established for the department. • Perform related duties as required.
