The Position: We are seeking a Senior Project Architect with strong healthcare experience, specifically in HCAi / hospital projects, to join our Southern California team. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives in complex project environments and is experienced in managing documentation, coordination, and delivery of large-scale healthcare facilities.
What You'll Do:
Lead the technical design and documentation of healthcare and hospital projects (HCAi/OSHPD)
Oversee all phases of project delivery, from design through construction administration
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution
Ensure compliance with HCAi regulations, codes, and healthcare design standards
Develop and manage construction documents, detailing, and specifications
Collaborate closely with Project Managers and leadership to meet project goals
Mentor and guide junior team members
Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements - What You Bring:
8-15+ years of experience in architecture, with a focus on healthcare projects
Strong HCAi (OSHPD) / hospital project experience is required
Licensed Architect (CA preferred) or actively pursuing licensure
Advanced proficiency in Revit and strong technical/documentation skills
In-depth knowledge of California building codes and healthcare regulations
Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality work
What's Offered:
Salary: $125,000 - $185,000/year (DOE)
