Key Responsibilities of the Student Success Coach
As a Student Success Coach at careerzynith, you will own a portfolio of assigned students and serve as their primary point of contact throughout their educational journey. Your day-to-day work will blend proactive outreach, responsive support, coaching conversations, and resource navigation. The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Student Coaching and Mentorship: Manage a defined group of students and guide each one through every phase of their degree program. Conduct proactive and timely outreach via phone, email, and internal systems to keep students engaged, motivated, and on track.
- Retention and Persistence Support: Support enrollment, student development, and retention initiatives by identifying at-risk students early, addressing barriers to success, and implementing strategies that encourage persistence and graduation.
- Daily and Weekly Outreach: Make consistent contact with students through scheduled calls, follow-ups, and check-ins. Encourage, motivate, and support learners as they develop the academic skills, study habits, and mindset needed for long-term success.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your workday will be structured around an assigned eight-hour shift within our operating hours. careerzynith is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Daylight Time and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time. We hire Student Success Coaches from all time zones across the United States to ensure we can support students during the hours they need us most. You will spend the majority of your day on the phone and computer, engaging in meaningful conversations that move students closer to graduation.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for the Student Success Coach role at careerzynith, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, or an international equivalent.
