About the position
The Supply Chain Logistics Analyst ensures finished goods are in the right location at the right time across Aurora Organic Dairy’s internal and third-party warehouse network. Working closely with Production Planning and Customer Logistics, this role manages inter-facility product movement, maintains network inventory balance, and owns order readiness and inventory risk visibility.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with Production Planning to align finished goods movement with production schedules and demand signals, ensuring product availability across all warehouse locations.
• Partner with Customer Logistics to monitor order readiness, flag inventory shortfalls, and proactively manage inventory risk ahead of customer commitments; communicate potential shortfalls or surpluses to supply chain and commercial stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute inter-facility shuttle and transfer activity, ensuring timely and accurate movement of product between plants and warehouses.
• Monitor inventory positioning across the network, identifying imbalances and recommending corrective transfers to prevent out-of-stocks or excess concentration at any location.
• Collaborate with 3PL partners to coordinate inbound and outbound movements, resolving logistical issues that affect product availability.
• Identify and review slow-moving, excess, short-code, or at-risk inventory and work cross-functionally to develop and support action plans.
• Generate and maintain KPIs and reporting related to network inventory positioning, order readiness, and transfer efficiency.
• Support supply chain planning models by providing accurate, current inventory positioning data.
• Take on additional duties and projects as needed to support the supply chain team and overall business goals.
• Maintain good relationships with cross-functional teams by resolving issues and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Plant Operations teams to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by successfully completing educational courses and workshops relevant to the job.
• Plant operations are 24/7 – some tasks may require attention during non-business hours.
• Available for scheduled and non-scheduled travel.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics
• Experience with inventory planning and product movement across multi-site or 3PL warehouse networks
• Working knowledge of ERP systems; Infor M3 experience a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with Power BI and SQL preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and EDI processes
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally across production, logistics, and commercial teams
• Experience with short-code, excess, or at-risk inventory management a plus
• Familiarity with 3PL operations and experience coordinating across internal and external teams
• Experience with the dairy industry is a plus
