TA Sourcer (Games-Western Hemisphere)

Our industry-leading services include game development, art production, audio production, quality assurance, localization, localization QA, player support, community management, and datasets. ### About the Role As a Technical Sourcer (Western Hemisphere), you will support Side’s global gaming & codev hiring efforts with a primary focus on LATAM, Canada and US Regions. This is a fully remote, contract-based role designed for a sourcing specialist rather than a full-cycle recruiter. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and screening technical game development talent across a wide range of disciplines, before handing qualified candidates off to the recruiting team for full lifecycle management. If you are highly skilled at precision sourcing, talent mapping, and early-stage technical screening within the games industry, this role is for you. ### Key Responsibilities ### Technical Sourcing & Talent Mapping • Proactively source game development talent across AMERICAS and LATAM regions • Build and maintain pipelines across the full spectrum of game development roles, including: • Engineering (gameplay, engine, tools, UI, AI, etc.) • Art (character, environment, concept, VFX, technical art) • Animation and Technical Animation • Game Design (systems, level, narrative, UX) • Production and other specialized disciplines • Execute advanced Boolean searches and targeted sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, ATS platforms, portfolios, and online communities • Identify and engage passive candidates aligned with Side’s co-development and studio support needs ### Screening & Candidate Qualification • Conduct initial candidate screening to assess technical alignment, experience, availability, and interest • Evaluate candidate fit against role requirements prior to handoff • Prepare clear, structured candidate summaries for recruiter handoff • Ensure a smooth transition of qualified candidates into the recruitment process ### Pipeline Management • Develop and maintain long-term talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs • Track, update, and maintain candidate records accurately and on time within internal systems • Partner closely with recruiters to prioritize pipelines based on project timelines and hiring demand ### Stakeholder Collaboration • Collaborate with recruiters to understand role requirements, technical nuances, and hiring priorities • Provide insights on regional talent availability, market conditions, and sourcing challenges across North Americas and Latin America • Support hiring strategy through proactive sourcing recommendations ### Market Intelligence & Process • Monitor hiring trends, talent movement, and regional nuances within local gaming markets • Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, tools, and documentation • Ensure a professional, inclusive, and compliant candidate outreach experience • *Working Conditions** • Contract role • Fully remote • Western Hemisphere focus (US, Canada, Latin America) • Application must be submitted in English ### Requirements • *Qualifications Required: • 3+ years of experience as a technical sourcer or recruiter with a strong sourcing focus • Proven experience sourcing for game development roles • Experience sourcing talent across Western Hemisphere regions • Strong understanding of the full range of game development disciplines and roles • Advanced Boolean or Xray search and sourcing techniques • Experience conducting early-stage candidate screening • Excellent written communication skills in English and French • *Preferred Qualifications: • Background in or strong understanding of game development lifecycles and outsourced production models. • Co-development or agency hiring experience • Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Talent Insights, TestGorilla, or HireRight • Experience working with globally distributed recruiting teams • Experience supporting contract or project-based hiring models ### Benefits • *What We Offer:** • You will be working for the pre-eminent global provider of specialist services to the games industry, supporting
