Technical Sales Representative (IT) 1099

Job description Verto IT Solutions is a next-generation Managed IT Services provider, delivering modern technology and proactive support to small and mid-sized businesses. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to help drive our business development efforts. Key Responsibilities • Proactively engage in outbound calling to generate leads and schedule discovery appointments. • Generate sales opportunities and manage your sales funnel. • Communicate effectively with prospective clients to understand their IT needs and recommend tailored solutions. • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients; identify, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to align strategies with market feedback and customer trends. • Deliver outstanding service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. • Stay up to date on industry trends, partner products, and competitive offerings to strengthen sales tactics. • Educate clients using materials and training provided by our vendor partners. Note: Verto IT Solutions’ leadership will prepare all quotes and provide any necessary materials to support your client engagements, allowing you to focus exclusively on relationship-building and sales execution. Qualifications • 3+ years of proven consultative sales or business development experience required; • Prior technical sales experience with a solid understanding of IT solutions and services required. • Experience generating leads and prospecting is required. • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and maintain strong client relationships. • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and improvement. • Remote position - however, you must be located within the United States. Residency in Pennsylvania, Maryland, or New Jersey is a plus.
