Job Description:
NC Medicaid is seeking a contractor to manage the CMS Systems Certification process for NC Medicaid. This role also develops Advanced Planning Documents and other documentation required for the planning, implementation, and operations activities.
Systems Certification Manager/Advanced Planning Writer
This position manages the overall CMS Systems Certification process for NC Medicaid and serves as the CMS Certification Expert. This role establishes quantifiable outcome statements and metrics, develops, enables, and monitors certification strategy for each project within the program, and manages the general alignment with MITA and the seven standards and conditions for the certification and compliance functions. Additionally, this role, develops Advanced Planning Documents, and other documentation required for the planning, implementation, and operations activities which include, leading the APD kickoff, review, and closeout meetings, and drafting CMS submittal letters. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, technical teams, vendors, contract and budget offices, and other key stakeholders to support the NC Medicaid, Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Program.
Prior expert experience with Quality, Safety & Oversight - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Certification & Compliance process.
