We are looking for a dynamic and multi-talented Test Engineer Coop to contribute to the software testing effort of our product platform. You’ll need an analytical mind, can observe and process data, troubleshoot and diagnose problems.    You are a natural learner and constantly ask questions to dig deeper into problems to learn more. You are adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and skills. You possess a teamwork eagerness and are willing to contribute in any way to deliver a quality product.    We Provide an engineering-focused culture that puts a premium on responsibility, freedom, learning, and creativity.   We work with MacOS, Linux, Go, python, pytest, Java, Playwright, Selenium, Locust, Postman, Javascript (React.js, Angular, jquery), CSS, MySql, Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic Search, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SumoLogic, Tableau, REST, Jenkins, Jira, Git, GitHub, Confluence, browsers and more...   Industry Knowledge and Subject Matter Expertise: Familiar with software development life cycle utilizing agile methods Familiar with software quality assurance methodologies Familiar with web applications Familiar with open-source tools  Familiar with cloud technologies   Duties/Responsibilities/Primary Function: Be a quality advocate, work in an agile software development environment Collaborate closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers Analyze requirements specifications and discuss software design and testability to ensure we deliver high quality software Writes test plan or test cases for user stories, with some guidance  Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects Verifies Code Changes/Fixes Fulfill the QA responsibilities on an agile scrum team; Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospective meetings Develop (code, debug, test) test automation code Monitor CI/CD test pipeline for code builds, troubleshoot test failures   Required Skills/Abilities/Profile: Experience with manual testing: some experience with testing web applications on a browser, e.g. IE, Safari, FireFox, Chrome Excellent verbal and written communication skills Some organizational skills and attention to detail Some time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Some analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in a Macintosh or Linux environment Some knowledge and programming experience with Python, Java or Go Some knowledge of database interaction, e.g., MongoDB and SQL Some exposure to cloud technologies (AWS Preferred) Familiar with Git and GitHub, preferred Familiar with testing REST API, preferred A trouble shooter, problem solver   Education and Experience: Actively pursuing a master/bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields are required Typically, 0-2 years of related experience is required   Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of working on a computer of up to 8 hrs per day Remote position WHY AQUENT?
