Job description: Description: The Educational Interpreter will provide interpretive services for students with hearing and/or communication disabilities. The Educational Interpreter will promote the inclusion of students with disabilities into regular classrooms and school activities. The Educational Interpreter will actively involve parents and colleagues as partners in learning.

Assignment: Montgomery County ESC Early Childhood Program, Learning Center East

Full Time: 191 days in a regular school year
Pay: $23.27 - $33.69 per/hr.

Minimum Qualifications: Valid State of Ohio Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired Licensed Exact English (SEE). Strong voicing skills including fluency in reception and expression. Skilled in the use of alternative forms of communication. Demonstrates a commitment to the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Professional Code of Ethics. Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and criminal records check (Provided for free by MCESC).
