Job Description
Are you a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist looking for a role where you can apply your clinical expertise in a vocationally focused way to support people back to work.
We’re looking for Vocational Clinical Specialists to join our clinical team, supporting members within our Group Income Protection business. This is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping people return to work while managing your own caseload and working in a flexible, supportive environment.
What you'll be doing:
Managing a personal caseload end-to-end, planning and prioritising your own diary to meet service and customer needs
Delivering holistic assessments using a biopsychosocial approach, considering medical, psychological and occupational factors
Developing, implementing and reviewing vocational rehabilitation and return to work plans
Building strong relationships with members through telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
Working closely with claims assessors, employers, advisers and external providers to achieve the best outcomes
Balancing quality, efficiency and customer experience in a fast-paced environment within insurance frameworks
Adapting to change and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, documentation and professional practice
Who we're looking for:
Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with relevant NMC or HCPC registration
Experience in case management, occupational health or vocational rehabilitation
Ability to work independently, make decisions and manage competing priorities
Confidence managing your own diary, workload and deadlines
Experience applying a biopsychosocial approach in practice
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining quality
Strong written skills, including clinical report writing
