Summary
Curana Health is seeking a licensed Psychiatrist in Missouri to serve as a Collaborating Physician for our growing telehealth behavioral health program. This is a PRN, stipend-based role structured around your schedule and professional interests.
In this capacity, you will provide collaborative oversight and supervision for our psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) serving residents in Missouri senior living communities. Compensation is paid per supervised provider, making this a straightforward and predictable engagement with no required minimums.
This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who wants meaningful involvement in mission-driven care without the demands of a traditional clinical schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As Collaborating Physician, you will:
Provide collaborative practice oversight and supervision for psychiatric NPs in accordance with Missouri state requirements
Review and co-sign documentation as required by state regulations and collaborative practice agreements
Be available for clinical consultation on complex or high-acuity cases as needed
Collaborate with Curana's interdisciplinary care teams, including APPs, primary care providers, and facility staff
Support compliance with collaborative practice agreement (CPA) terms and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required
MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted medical license in Missouri
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Willingness to enter into a collaborative practice agreement in compliance with Missouri law
Preferred
Experience in geriatric psychiatry or care of older adult populations
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
Prior experience serving as a collaborating or supervising physician for APPs
Interest in value-based, team-based care models
