They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk III to support their finance operations team by ensuring accurate processing of invoices and purchase requisitions, thereby contributing to the operational efficiency and financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential operational support for invoicing related to data collection and vendor platforms
- Validate invoices meticulously against purchase orders and statements of work to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively between internal teams and various vendor partners
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly activities and tasks in adherence to defined processes
- Participate in review meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss progress and identify areas for improvement
- Conduct metrics analysis and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Initiate and raise purchase requisitions for data collection, vendor platform, and operational needs
- Engage in additional mutually agreed-upon activities as assigned by the team manager, with priorities adjusted based on work volume
Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in a related financial or accounting support role
- Strong aptitude for numbers and quantitative analysis
- Fundamental understanding of basic finance principles
- Proficiency with Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (especially email correspondence)
