Responsibilities
- Assists with the development and completion of grant proposals, progress reports, letters of intent, and other related documents through editing, formatting, and submitting materials
- Researches and identifies grant funding opportunities; manages and coordinates outreach materials
- Coordinates with faculty, staff, centers, institutes, and other related personnel to gather information for grant proposals; integrates and augments sections written by others
- Complies with all requirements, deadlines, policies, and procedures
- Maintains records, schedules, and databases; tracks pending grants and contracts
- Assists with budget preparations for grant proposals
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong research, synthesis, and persuasive writing skills
- Ability to translate complex programmatic and evaluation content into clear narrative for varied funder audiences
- Ability to manage concurrent writing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Experience in developing and completing grant proposals, progress reports, letters of intent, and other related documents
- Ability to research and identify grant funding opportunities
