The Role
As a member of the Workday ERP Services practice, the Senior Consultant will work closely with clients on training, workflow, process, and system improvements that support the activities performed. The Senior Consultant, supervised by Nordic Leadership, provides consulting services to clients in a project leadership capacity. This position will have the opportunity to think creatively and leverage multiple analytic methods to support the delivery of implementation services to organizations.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will have the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
Support projects with a goal of delivering on time, on budget, and with positive and measurable outcomes; complete workflow design, system configuration, testing, data migration, validation, support, and issue resolution
Present and facilitate meetings with user and manager level stakeholders
Provide excellent, professional client service, tailoring consulting approach to the type of engagement and aligning services with the goals of the company
Execute and participate in successful implementation of design decisions, tailoring applications to meet departmental/organizational requirements and expectations
Lead sales efforts including scoping, orals, and preparing presentations
Lead, develop, and adopt standards, policies, and best practices related to Nordic’s WORKDAY ERP Services offerings
Develop testing scenarios that correlate with client-approved workflows and design
Analyze project requirements, creating materials and executing on best practice processes to effectively move projects forward to a successful conclusion, including but not limited to set up, configuration, processing, file structure/data mapping, reporting, testing, and troubleshooting
Performing detailed analysis to draw independent conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations
Creating, and adopting standards, policies, and best practices related to Nordic’s WORKDAY ERP Services offerings
Advise internal team members to continually enhance processes and workflows to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency
Respond to client requests in a professional manner using established methods and escalation processes, and documenting and retaining records of all meetings and/or education sessions
Document all work as part of client deliverables, consistently using a professional documentation approach throughout span of engagement and beyond, resulting in high quality materials for internal and external usage
Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist in other initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3 years of Workday experience, either as a consultant or as a hands-on Workday administrator
Will lead foundation alignment sessions and customer confirmation sessions
Must be able to lead core HCM and at least one additional work stream such as recruiting, compensation, or benefits.
Must be comfortable/adept in all phases of launch methodology including plan, configure & architect, test, and deploy
Active Workday certification or 5 years of hands-on configuration experience in multiple Workday modules required
Ability to identify, scope, estimate, and support sales opportunities
Ability to develop new offerings, services, and support go-to-market strategies
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Able to balance urgent, short-term needs with strategic, long-term priorities
Exhibits strength in relating to people, including the ability to deliver feedback and inspire and motivate others to succeed
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines
Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, as well as with diverse candidates, consultants, and client bases
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change; reacts well under pressure
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computers, email, correspondence, and spreadsheets
Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
Additional Details
Travel up to 50% of the time.
