Key Responsibilities
As the Tech Lead Software Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader who invests in the future of careerzynith's engineering family. Your work will directly support the Data Science Common Platform and the Data Science Models that operate on the platform. You will lead, inspire, and grow a team of engineers responsible for the design, delivery, and operation of highly reliable software. In addition, you will serve as a critical interface between the development team and senior management, ensuring that capacity, skill sets, and delivery expectations are continuously aligned.
- Development Estimation and Planning: Provide accurate development estimates in support of feasibility assessments and planned improvement activities, helping the team set realistic commitments and deliver on them consistently.
- Application Architecture: Create, maintain, review, and approve application architectures in collaboration with Solution Architects and shared services teams, ensuring alignment with appropriate design frameworks and balancing tradeoffs thoughtfully.
- High-Quality Software Development: Develop, maintain, and review software with a relentless focus on quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability.
- Automated Testing Excellence: Develop, maintain, review, and execute unit, functional, and integration tests with an emphasis on automation and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
- Performance and Non-Functional Oversight: Provide technical oversight for performance testing initiatives, ensuring that design decisions and observed results align with expected non-functional requirements such as scalability, latency, and reliability.
